Key Value Lists allow you to apply advanced targeting and filtering rules on the Source level. This feature helps you control which ad requests are allowed or blocked based on predefined or custom values.
They are first created in Global Lists > Key Value List, and then applied in Source targeting.
1. Creating a Key Value List
Go to Global Lists > Key Value List.
Click Create.
Fill in the required fields:
List Name – the name of your list (e.g., “Content Type Filter”).
Key – the parameter you want to filter by (e.g., Content Type).
Value Type:
List Values – use predefined sets of values (e.g., IAB categories, bundles, domains).
Free Values – allows you to manually enter free-form values.
Click Create to save the list.
Adding Values to a List
Open the created Key Value List.
Click Add new value.
Enter:
Value – technical identifier (e.g., iab16).
Name – human-readable label (e.g., Pets Channel).
Click Create.
Repeat as needed to build your full list.
You can also export/import values via CSV for bulk updates.
2. Applying Key Value Lists at Source Level
When setting up a Source, go to the Targeting section and choose Key Values.
Choose Mode
Allow – only requests matching the list will pass.
Block – requests matching the list will be filtered out (default).
Define Rules
Each block consists of three fields:Key Value List (e.g., Content Type).
Operator (is any of, is none of, contains, not contains).
Values (select from the list or enter manually).
Combine Conditions
Use +AND to add multiple rules within one block (rules are combined with AND).
Use Add OR condition to create additional blocks (blocks are combined with OR).
3. Report
In the report section you can find dimension "Key Value"
