Setting up a new source is simple. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Navigate to the Source Settings
- Go to the Channels section and select the channel you want to add the source to.
- Click the + New Source button.
Step 2: Fill in Basic Settings
In the Source Settings tab, complete the following:
- Source Name (Required): Enter a unique name for the source.
- Source Description (Optional): Provide a brief description of the source.
- Type of Integration: Select from the available options:
- Tag Based: Choose the VAST version (e.g., VAST 3.0, 4.0).
- Open RTB: Select the supply type (e.g., Video/Display or Audio).
Step 3: Configure Source Pricing
Under Source Pricing, choose one of the three revenue models:
- Share of Revenue: Define a percentage of revenue the publisher will receive.
- (Example: 70% Share of Revenue means $7 for every $10.)
- Floor Price: Set a minimum CPM below which no ad impressions will be sold.
- Fixed CPM: Specify the exact CPM for publishers and the advertiser’s minimum CPM.
- (Example: Publisher’s CPM = $4, Advertiser’s Floor CPM = $4.71.)
Step 4: Advanced Settings (Optional)
- Configure any additional settings such as Protected Media
- Reach out to your rep if you would like purchase feature
- Once you’re ready, click Save to finalize the source.
Step 5: Generate and Use Tags
Once saved, you can access the VAST tag or RTB endpoint for this source.
