Creating a new channel is simple. Follow these steps
Step 1: Start Creating a Channel
Navigate to the Channel dropdown in the upper-left corner of the screen and select New Channel.
Step 2: Choose a Channel Type
There are two options for Channel Types:
- Basic: Add multiple inventory sources. Works with both podded and non-podded content.
- Traffic Router: Distribute inventory across sources with adjustable ratios.
Step 3: Fill in the Channel Details
Provide the following details:
- Channel Name (Required): Enter a unique name.
- Channel Type (Required): Select either Basic or Traffic Router.
Client’s Revshare (Required): Specify the percentage (1–100%) that applies to revenue sharing.
Step 4: Optional Advanced Settings
You can configure additional options such as:
- Seller Type: Choose between Publisher, Intermediary, or Both.
- Global Block Lists: Add block lists for apps, bundles, or domains.
- Schain Object Behavior: Decide how supply chain information is handled:
- Append or overwrite the chain.
- Leave it blank to use default behavior.
Step 5: Save Your Changes
Once all the details are filled out, click Create to finalize the channel.
Once the channel is created you can provide access to your supply partner in two ways:
1. API Access
At the bottom of the settings page, you’ll find the API Access section. This section provides an XML link for reporting purposes. The API documentation is available via the Download button.
You can update the generated API link at any time by clicking the Refresh hash code button.
2. Grant Permission
Alternatively, you can grant access to the reports and dashboard by entering the partner’s email address in the Grant permission tab.
Supply partners with granted access will be able to view the following dashboard metrics:
- Channel Revenue
- Paid Impressions
- Channel eCPM
- Fill Rate (Ad Ops)
