If you are using both the Ad Serving and DSP products, you can easily monitor performance across the two directly in your Ad Serving Reports.
This allows you to see revenue and impression metrics for each connection - from Supply Source to DSP Line Item - all in one place.
How to View These Metrics
To get a full picture of delivery and spend per connection, please select the following slices in the report wizard:
Channel / Source - to view connected supply partners
Advertiser - to filter out your demand partners
DSP Advertiser
DSP Campaign
DSP Line Item
Then, proceed to the Wizard > Metrics section and select:
DSP Impressions - the total number of DSP counted impressions.
DSP Total Spend - total spend tracked in the DSP, USD.
DSP eCPM - measures effective cost per 1000 impressions.
Finally, run the report.
Interpreting DSP Reporting Results
Here are important notes to help you correctly interpret the UI and results:
- Cross-reporting is for DSP-related connections only
The cross-report feature works only when you’re running report for DSP entities. For non-DSP entities, this report will not work because the data won’t be available. - Supported Metrics and Expected Values
For Ad Serving data, such as Ad calls and Ad Requests, results may appear as "0". This is because DSP data only arrives when a company is identified in processing and stats. - Presence or Absence of Cross-data
If DSP data is available (“cross-data exists”), you’ll see actual values returned in your report. If not, results will show as “NA”. This is normal and indicates no applicable cross-data for that entity.
Tip
For faster access, we recommend creating a custom report template in the Wizard with all the relevant slices and metrics - so you can generate this view in just a few clicks.
