The Pass price from extension toggle is available only for Tag-based Campaigns.
It allows you to explicitly control which price should be used during ad serving: the campaign CPM or the price passed in the advertiser response extension.
This setting is useful when working with integrations where the advertiser dynamically passes pricing in the response and you want to decide whether this value should override your campaign CPM.
Where to Find the Setting
The toggle is located in Basic Settings > Campaign Pricing section for Tag-based Campaigns.
How the Toggle Works
When Pass price from extension is ON
The system prioritizes the price from the advertiser response extension.
However, the campaign CPM will still be used in the following cases:
The price from the extension is lower than the campaign CPM, or
The price extension is missing in the advertiser response.
Result: the system always selects the higher and valid price, ensuring controlled pricing while still allowing dynamic bids from the advertiser.
When Pass price from extension is OFF
The system completely ignores any price passed in the advertiser response extension.
Ad delivery is based only on the campaign CPM.
Result: pricing is fully fixed and controlled by the campaign configuration.
