House Ads let you run internal or promotional campaigns as free fallback inventory that serves only after paid campaigns fail to clear the advertiser/supply floor. Ignore Supply Floors lets selected campaigns serve below the channel floor to maximize fill, either automatically for House Ads or manually for special low-CPM deals.
How delivery works
- For each impression, the Ad Server first looks for paid campaigns that meet or exceed the applicable advertiser/supply floor; only these can serve as monetized demand.
If no paid campaign is eligible, the Ad Server then considers campaigns allowed to skip the floor (all House Ads plus any campaigns with Ignore Supply Floors enabled) and chooses among them using normal targeting.
Creating a House Ad campaign
- Create a new Tag-Based or Direct Demand campaign, and go to Campaign Pricing.
- Toggle House Ads on. The CPM field will gray out and lock at 0.00, Ignore Supply Floors will switch on and become locked, and the campaign will be assigned to Priority 10 with priority editing disabled.
Save the campaign and traffic creatives/line items as normal; the campaign will now only serve as fallback when paid demand cannot fill.
Using Ignore Supply Floors without House Ads
- For non-house campaigns, you can toggle Ignore Supply Floors independently to allow specific deals to serve below the channel floor while still using their configured CPM.
This is useful for special partnerships where you accept lower rates for additional fill; the tooltip explains that this bypasses the usual minimum CPM restrictions to increase fill.
Reporting and metrics
| Area | How it works for House Ads | How it works for monetized campaigns |
|---|---|---|
| CPM/price | Always 0.00 CPM; cannot be edited. | Uses the CPM you set; may be below floor only if Ignore Supply Floors is enabled. |
| Priority | Priority 10. | Priority editable according to normal rules. |
| Revenue | Total campaign revenue reported as 0; channel may still incur supply costs, so margin can be negative by design. | Revenue and margin calculated normally from paid impressions. |
| Reporting | Campaign Monetization Type = House Ad Promo | Counted under Monetized with Ignore Supply Floor Yes/No depending on settings. |
