The Action Tracking tab allows you to associate post-conversion goals (or “actions”) with a specific line item. These are useful for CPA-based campaigns or for tracking events like purchases, sign-ups, or installs. You can associate up to five actions per line item.
Click the green Create button to define a new action for the line item.
Creating an Action
Required Fields:
- Action: Select from predefined global action names (Action #1–#5).
- Action Description (optional): Internal label to clarify what the action represents (e.g., Install, Purchase).
-
Value Tracking: Choose how the value of the action is measured:
- Postback – Value is dynamically passed from the advertiser’s system at time of conversion.
- Manual – You assign a fixed value to each conversion.
- Currency: Choose payout currency (default is USD).
- Expected Time to Action: Set the expected number of hours from impression to conversion (e.g., 24 hours).
Postback Value Tracking
When Postback is selected:
- No static value is assigned.
- The value is expected to be passed in the advertiser's postback call.
- This method is often used when advertisers have dynamic payout structures.
Manual Value Tracking
When Manual is selected:
- You must enter a Conversion Value (e.g.,
0.001
). - This value will be applied uniformly to each conversion tracked for that action.
