The Creatives tab serves as a central dashboard for managing all creative assets across advertisers and line items in the platform. From here, users can view, filter, and create creatives independent of a specific line item context.
Creative Dashboard
The dashboard provides filters and search fields to quickly locate specific creatives by:
- Lookup: Free text search across IDs, names, etc.
- Advertiser: Type to filter by advertiser.
- Line Item: Type to filter creatives linked to a specific line item.
- Type: Filter by creative type (e.g., All, Video).
- Status: View all, active, or inactive creatives.
- Archive Status: Filter by archived or non-archived creatives.
Each row in the results table includes:
- Advertiser name
- Creative ID
- Creative Name
- Size (dimensions, if applicable)
- Type (Video Inline or Video Wrapper)
- Line Items: Count of associated line items
- Impression and CTR metrics for Today, Yesterday, and Lifetime
- Actions: Edit, view stats, preview, duplicate, archive, etc.
There are also two quick-action buttons above the results table:
- Update Click URL (for bulk updates)
- Export to CSV
Creating a New Creative
Clicking the Create button opens the Create New Creative window. There are two supported creative types: Video Inline (hosted creative) and Video Wrapper (VAST redirect).
Hosted Creative: Video Inline
Use this option to upload your own video file directly.
Required Fields:
- Advertiser: Select from the dropdown.
- Creative Type: Video (default).
- Creative Integration Type: Select VAST Inline.
- VAST Version: Defaults to 4.2.
- Creative Name
- Alternative ID (optional)
- Ad Domain
- Start Date / End Date
- Creative Vertical
- Title
- Video Ad Duration (in seconds)
- Asset: Upload a video file (.mp4, .ogg, .webm)
- Click URL: Include macros if needed (e.g.,
{crid},{lid},{click_id}, etc.)
Additional Options:
- Skippable toggle
- 3rd Party Trackers: Add as needed
At the bottom, choose Create, or Create and Continue to immediately associate it to line items.
Redirect Tag: Video Wrapper
Use this option if the creative is hosted externally and you're passing a redirect tag.
Required Fields:
- Advertiser
- Creative Type: Video
- Creative Integration Type: Select VAST Wrapper
- Creative Name
- Alternative ID (optional)
- Ad Domain
- Start Date / End Date
- Creative Vertical
- Video Ad Duration (in seconds)
- VAST XML: The VAST tag URL to be redirected to. This is a redirect tag, not a file upload.
- Click URL with optional macros
Additional Options:
- Skippable toggle
- 3rd Party Trackers if needed
Once created, creatives can be edited or associated with line items at any time. You can manage those associations directly from the Line Items tab or revisit the Creatives dashboard for additional bulk actions.
